Coral introduced Anemoi, our open-source semi-centralised multi-agent architecture. Built on Coral’s agent-to-agent communication MCP server, Anemoi addresses a key problem in multi-agent systems: the bottleneck created by a single central planner.

• A semi-centralised planner proposes an initial plan.

• Specialised worker agents communicate directly, monitor progress, refine steps, and resolve bottlenecks in real time.

• This design allows agents to collaborate more efficiently and achieve higher accuracy with smaller models.

Anemoi hit 52.73% on the GAIA benchmark using GPT-4.1-mini — showing that scalable collaboration can outperform larger, more resource-intensive setups.
